Tokens are spent only when a model works for you, on a copilot, an AI tool or a generation, and a generation shows its cost before you run it. What each plan includes.
Every plan carries the whole studio: the script, the breakdown, the shot lists, the schedule and the copilots. What changes as you move up is the monthly token allowance, the model shelf, story memory, storage, projects and shared projects.
For studios and companies.
Studio is priced per seat: every paid seat adds its tokens to one pool the whole team spends from and brings 100 GB of shared storage, reviewers and viewers are free, and an admin can cap what each member spends and give every project a budget. Work is approved in the Review room, and the studio is backed up every night for 30 days. How much does Volta Studio cost?
There are four personal plans, Free, Starter, Creator and Pro, billed monthly or yearly, plus Studio for teams, priced per seat, and Enterprise by contract. The live prices and exactly what each plan includes are on the Pricing page, generated from the same table the checkout charges against, so what you read is what you are charged.
What does Volta cost for a team?
The Studio plan is priced per seat, with a minimum and a maximum number of seats. Each paid seat adds its monthly tokens to one shared pool and 100 GB to the studio's shared storage, reviewers and viewers are free up to twice the paid seats, and top-ups go into the same pool. More storage is added in 1 TB blocks. The seat price and the tokens per seat are on the Pricing page, read from the plans table.
What is Volta Enterprise?
Enterprise is Studio under a contract, for companies that need one: a negotiated rate on generation instead of the standard prices, invoices paid on terms rather than by card, an export of the audit log, and the number of seats the company needs. It is set up after a conversation, so the way in is to write to support@voltastudio.app.
What is a token?
A token is the unit of generation. Every image, video take and voice line has a price in tokens, and the studio shows that price before you spend it. Writing, breakdown, shot lists and scheduling cost no tokens at all.
Do unused tokens roll over?
The monthly allowance that comes with a plan resets each month. Tokens you buy as a top-up never expire and are kept separate, so subscribing or changing plan does not consume them.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. A free account gives you the whole production side of the studio: write the script, break it down, build the shot lists and the schedule. Copilots, AI tools and generation are paid in tokens, which you can top up on the free plan without subscribing to anything.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. You can close or downgrade whenever you like and take your work with you. Cancelling keeps your projects and text; generated media follows the retention window described in your account settings.
How large can the files I upload be?
Volta Studio is built for AI production, not for camera footage. Uploads are sized for reference stills, short reference clips, voice and music stems, and finished episodes, and each plan sets its own per-file limit for images, video and audio, listed in the plan cards above. Media Volta generates for you counts only against storage, never against the upload limits.
Which plans include story memory?
Story memory starts on Creator and is included on every plan above it, each with its own passage allowance shown on the plan cards. Free and Starter do not include it.
Do model prices change?
Model prices come from the companies that run the models, and they change them without warning. When Volta prices change, the new price applies to what you generate afterwards and never to what you have already made. The charge for any generation is the one shown at the time you make it.
