# Volta or Pippit?

> Volta Studio and Pippit Short Drama Agent compared: manuscript to episodes, storyboards, lip-sync, publishing, team tools and training terms, each fact sourced.

Volta Studio is for creators who want control shot by shot, from a screenplay to a planned season, with a team budget and terms that rule out training on your work. Pippit is the better pick for turning a whole manuscript into episodes with one button and publishing them to social platforms from the same place.

## Why teams choose Volta.

Where control matters more than automation.

- A screenplay editor with a copilot, where Pippit's AI scriptwriter expands an idea into an outline.
- A lined script: every shot anchored to the lines it covers and kept there through rewrites.
- Season planning as tools: hooks, cliffhangers, a paywall line, a chain check and a planner that drafts in batches.
- Story memory that names its sources, so a continuity question gets an answer you can check.
- A team console with seats, roles, a limit per member and an audit log; we could not confirm team seats at Pippit.
- Training: Volta's Terms rule it out; Pippit's privacy policy allows training its machine learning models.

## Pricing.

Two reads of Pippit's pricing page on the same day disagreed about whether its prices were monthly or yearly, so none are quoted; its page has them. Volta's column is live.

## Rights and training.

Pippit's privacy policy allows using what you make for training and improving its technology, including its machine learning models. Volta's Terms rule out training on your projects, uploads or generations.

## When Pippit is the better choice.

Automation and reach.

- One-button automation of a whole manuscript into episodes.
- Scheduling and posting to several platforms built in; Volta leaves posting to you.
- Captions, music and voiceovers made with the episode in one pass.

## Which to choose.

For a series you direct shot by shot, plan as a season and own outright, Volta is the better base. For volume, with a manuscript in and scheduled posts out, Pippit asks the least of you.

## Pippit's terms, in its own words

- "training and improving our technology, such as our machine learning models" (privacy policy: pippit.ai/clause/pippit-privacy-policy)

## Common questions

### Can Pippit turn a script into a short drama?

Pippit takes a script as a .txt or .docx file, or pasted text, identifies the roles and scenes, writes shooting scripts with shot details and organises the episodes automatically. Volta starts from a screenplay you can edit, then breaks it down, anchors each shot to its lines and plans the season.

### Does Pippit publish to TikTok?

Its plans include scheduling and publishing to several platforms. Volta does not publish for you: takes download as ordinary vertical video files, and its Cut editor, switched on per account during early access, has TikTok, Shorts and Reels presets.

### Does Pippit use my dramas to train AI?

Its privacy policy allows training and improving its technology, such as its machine learning models. Volta's Terms say it does not train on your projects, uploads or generations. The clause is quoted and cited on this page.
