# Volta or LTX Studio?

> Volta Studio and LTX Studio side by side: script import, breakdown, shots, storyboards, team credits, plan prices and terms on training, each LTX fact sourced.

Volta Studio is for teams that produce from a real screenplay, with shots tied to the lines they cover, a season plan, a story memory and models from many makers, under terms that rule out training on your work. LTX Studio is the better pick for a fast storyboard and pitch deck for one film, on the LTX models at their maker's price.

## Why teams choose Volta.

Where the work starts from a screenplay and runs past one film.

- The script: a screenplay editor with industry formatting, and import from Fountain, plain text, Markdown or PDF; LTX Studio takes plain text files.
- Shots tied to the script: every shot anchored to the lines it covers and printed as a lined script; LTX Studio splits a script into scenes and shots.
- Series: episodes, seasons, the Vertical Microdrama format and a season planner, none of which we found in LTX Studio.
- The price first: the token price is on the button before each generation; we did not find a per-generation cost on LTX Studio's pricing page.
- One budget for a team: the Studio plan pools tokens across seats with a limit per member; LTX Studio has no shared credit pool below Enterprise.
- Training: Volta's Terms rule it out; LTX Studio's terms licence input and output for training, with enhanced privacy on Enterprise.

LTX Studio was checked on its own pages on 2026-10-01. No means their own pages say otherwise. Not found means we could not confirm it there, not that it is missing.

## Pricing.

LTX Studio sells monthly credit plans, read off its pricing page below. Volta's column is computed live from the plans table and the model catalogue as the page loads, so it is current to the minute.

## Rights and training.

The clearest difference between the two. LTX Studio's terms give Lightricks a licence to what you put in and get out, including for training, and list enhanced data privacy as an Enterprise feature. Volta's Terms say it does not train on your projects, uploads or generations, on every plan.

## When LTX Studio is the better choice.

Credit where it is due.

- Pitch decks built from the storyboard, which Volta does not make.
- Its own open-weights video models, at first-party cost; Volta runs LTX-2.3 through a provider at its token price.
- XML export to hand a sequence to an editing system; Volta has no XML or EDL export.

## Which to choose.

Choose Volta when the script is the source of truth, the project runs to episodes or a season, a team shares one budget, or you need it in writing that your work is not training data. Choose LTX Studio for a fast pitch: a storyboard and a deck for one film, on its own models.

## LTX Studio's terms, in its own words

- Its terms grant Lightricks a licence to your Input and Output for training its models, and list "Enhanced data privacy" on Enterprise only. (terms of service: static.lightricks.com/legal/LTX-Online Terms of Service.pdf)

## Common questions

### Is LTX Studio better than Volta for storyboards?

For a quick storyboard and pitch deck from an idea, LTX Studio is strong, and it makes decks, which Volta does not. Volta builds its storyboard from a shot list anchored to the screenplay, so the boards change when the script does. Both keep characters consistent with reusable references.

### Can I use LTX models in Volta?

Yes. LTX-2.3 Pro is on Volta's video shelf, paid in tokens from the same wallet as every other model, with the price shown before each run. Its live price is on this page beside LTX Studio's plans.

### Does LTX Studio train on my work?

Its terms grant Lightricks a licence to input and output that covers model training, and enhanced data privacy is listed on Enterprise. Volta's Terms say it does not train on your projects, uploads or generations. Both clauses are cited on this page.
